Facts
• AGRU America uses proprietary equipment and methods to manufacture North America’s largest diameter (3260 mm) solid wall HDPE pipes. AGRU is also the only North American company able to deliver “long string” HDPE pipes of this scale – extruding over 600 m of material as a single continuous pipe and shipping these products by sea to global coastal job sites. Applications include intakes/outfall systems for power plant cooling, desalination, and more.
• AGRU America is the leading geosynthetics manufacturer in the United States, utilizing the flat-die extrusion method for precision-engineered lining systems for waste containment, pond, and mining applications. AGRU partners with innovative companies to deliver unique solutions. AGRU also offers the industry-leading Integrated Drainage System (IDS) with over 250 million square feet delivered, offering unparalleled shear strength and long-term, reliable drainage while providing cost savings during installation.
• AGRU America is part of a global company but recognizes its responsibility to give back to its communities and have a local impact. AGRU America regularly invests in its South Carolina and Nevada communities through sponsorships, donations, and partnerships with local organizations that have structured successful programs. In South Carolina, for example, AGRU recently sponsored the regional Pathways 2 Possibilities event, where thousands of 8th-grade students learn about job opportunities available within the state. AGRU America’s $10,000 sponsorship and participation at the event, along with an exhibit and activity, attracted the attention of the South Carolina Lieutenant Governor and was praised for its innovative engagement.
