Palm Spring Surf Club Gets Attention from the TODAY Show

The TODAY Show, one of the most popular TV news programs ever, turned their attention to the Palm Springs Surf Club. The park opened its doors to the public at the start of the year. The opening brought mainstream media attention with an incredible look inside the park.

Kelly Slater Discusses Wave Pools Vs. The Ocean

Surfing legend Kelly Slater spoke about his surfing preferences in a new Firewire video. During a recorded interview, Slater was asked whether he prefers a wave pool or the ocean. Slater, who continues to be a significant player in the surf park industry, says he still prefers the ocean. However, according to Slater, other surfing legends like Mark Richards said they prefer the Surf Ranch.

Damon Tudor has been a significant factor in the surf park industry in the last few years. Tudor has navigated the waters for URBNSURF Melbourne and the currently under construction park in Sydney. Recently, he announced that he planned to step away from URBNSURF.
