Surf Lakes Updates What’s Ahead for the Wave Company with More Licensing Partners

Press Release from Surf Lakes:

Wave Park technology, Surf Lakes Global, Inc. (“Surf Lakes”), has moved its headquarters to the USA, opening its first investment round to US investors.

Surf Lakes is set on making waves in the USA, having just hosted a “Celebration of Surfing” event in San Clemente that featured former surfing icons Tom Curren, and Peter Townend, the company will also be presenting at Surf Park Summit in San Diego this week.

Surf Lakes partnership

Beginning as a ripple in the mind of mining engineer, Aaron Trevis, the Surf Lakes technology has been developed through a series of inspired prototypes to create the most exciting wave park technology in the world.

Along the way, Surf Lakes enlisted surfing icon and 1999 world champion, Mark Occhilupo, to spread the word and advise on wave designs. The ocean-like wave quality grabbed the attention of surfing celebrities like Chris Hemsworth and DJ Paul Fisher who raved about their experiences at the R&D facility in Yeppoon, Queensland.

In the USA, Surf Lakes has secured licensee partners in California, Texas, Nevada, Florida, Tennessee and Hawaii. As a result of the ongoing interest it received from many US-based businesses, entrepreneurs, and the surfing community, Surf Lakes decided to complete a redomicile transaction in early 2024, resulting in Surf Lakes having a US parent company.

Now that the company has completed the transition, it is focused on raising capital in the US to further fund its operations, with the goal of maximizing shareholder value through a public listing on a US stock exchange in the coming years.

With the vision of creating a healthier world through surfing communities and technology, Surf Lakes has set its sights on opening 40+ wave parks across the globe by 2040. Like ski fields in the early 1900s, the wave park sector is at the start of an up-and-coming boom Phase.

By licensing the unique technology, owning parks, and growing a distinctive brand through media and partnerships, Surf Lakes plans to become synonymous with the burgeoning surf park industry.

Surf Lakes has opened an investment round to the US market. This new opportunity gives avid surfers and investors the ability to invest in an emerging technology with a real estate uplift, and a company set on a path of exponential growth. A Note from the Founder & CEO, Aaron Trevis:

“We are so grateful for the early support of our faithful shareholders and licensees, and it is exciting to see the very positive response from the US investor market so far. I think people are captivated by the vision and the immense global potential of Surf Lakes, because for the first time in history, we can create new beaches and new waves anywhere, but the waves are perfect, day and night and no-one needs to be afraid of sharks! This is an incredible time to be alive and we cannot wait to deliver Surf Lakes to destinations across the USA and more.”
