Another Surf Park Grows By Adding a Music Festival to its Offerings

Palm Springs Surf Club is the latest surf park to add an event to its offerings. According to multiple media sources, a day festival that coincides with the famous Coachella festival is scheduled for PSSC.

Coachella is known for its big-name music acts and for bringing thousands of fans together for two weekends in California’s Coachella Valley. The Palm Springs Surf Club event dubbed the Goldenvoice Suf Club, will host day parties on both weekends with DJs playing poolside.

Organizers say the tickets cost $40 for a single day or $75 for a weekend past. Dates include April 13 and 14, as well as April 20 and 21. The event is a 21+ only.

Palm Springs isn’t the only destination growing its name through music festivals. Waco Surf Park is also holding a music festival. The three-day Landlock Fest event runs from May 3 to 5 and features musical acts like Shakey Graves, Midland, and Young the Giant.

Research shows that increasing visitor opportunities by adding events or opportunities other than surfing is a great way to attract more visitors.

Palm Springs Surf Club has temporarily closed their surf bookings, but the destination’s restaurant, Amala, remains open.
