Endless Surf and Brasil Surfe Clube Announce Two Landmark Surf Destinations Featuring the Largest  Wave Pools in the Southern Hemisphere

Press Release from Endless Surf:

Endless Surf, global innovator in wave pool technology, and  Brasil Surfe Clube (BSC) have unveiled plans for two groundbreaking surf destinations: BSC Costa Verde and BSC  at Região dos Lagos. The official announcement follows BSC’s highly anticipated launch event in Rio de Janeiro,  where over 450 club members and project supporters gathered to celebrate the official launch of these two groundbreaking lifestyle developments. With club membership sales well underway, Brasil Surfe Clube is  combining Endless Surf’s next-generation wave technology, luxurious amenities, and arts & culture to create vibrant surf lifestyle hubs across Brazil.

Set to make waves in 2026, both clubs will be anchored by a 48-caisson lagoon, featuring over 10,000-square meters of surface area—the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Endless Surf’s wave technology recently made its global debut earlier this year at O2 SURFTOWN MUC in Germany, and has already been met with great acclaim—described by beginners and pros alike as the most ocean-like experience on the market and praised for its wave customization capabilities.

In Brazil, Endless Surf’s ES48 will be able to pump out 750+ waves per hour with rides of up 23 seconds possible.  Plus, with customizable settings for wave type, size, and frequency, the technology ensures every skill level is  satisfied and that every session is a memorable one.

Two Iconic Destinations, One Unifying Vision

Beyond the water, both BSC Costa Verde and BSC at Região dos Lagos are equally designed as lifestyle hubs that reflect authentic Brazilian surf culture. Inspired by concepts like Soho House, these clubs create a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere for members to connect through surfing, wellness, and art/culture.

“These projects represent a new era for surfing in Brazil,” said Ricardo Laureano Siqueira, CEO of BSC. “With  Endless Surf’s world-class technology at the center, we are creating destinations where members can experience surf culture paired with music, art, natural beauty, and much more. These projects are a testament to Brazil’s  passion for surfing and our commitment to building spaces that connect people, strengthen communities, and  celebrate our natural surroundings.”

Nestled in the picturesque coastal destination of Região dos Lagos, roughly two and half hours outside of Rio,  this club will combine Endless Surf’s perfect waves with resort-style amenities, including a boutique hotel, spa,  gastronomic experiences, and serene natural settings.

BSC Costa Verde

Located in Mangaratiba, just 90 minutes from Rio, on Brazil’s breathtaking “Green Coast”. Costa Verde‘s club will  be surrounded by pristine rainforest and crystal-clear water. This members-only surf club will revolutionize the  market by blending high-performance surfing with wellness-focused amenities, including a spa, art gallery, fitness center, and sport courts.

Adding Fuel to Brazil’s Surf Obsession

With surfing deeply embedded in Brazil’s culture and a rapidly growing following inspired by Olympic success,  icons like Yago Dora, and of course – wave pools, the sport is experiencing an unprecedented surge in popularity. Endless Surf’s partnership with BSC taps into this momentum, offering access to world-class waves and solidifying Brazil’s place as a global powerhouse for surfing.

“Surfing is more than a sport—it’s a lifestyle that shapes communities, and Brazil is a prime example of that,” said Paul Chutter, President of Endless Surf. “By partnering with Brasil Surfe Clube, we’re delivering surf  experiences that match the energy and enthusiasm of one of the world’s most surf obsessed countries.”

In addition to these two clubs, BSC plans to open multiple ES projects in various regions of Brazil and South  America, creating a network of surf clubs across the continent. Construction on Costa Verde and Região dos  Lagos are expected to start in 2025 with official openings set for 2026.
