Endless Surf and Flowstate announced a strategic partnership bringing together two of the surf park industry’s most advanced technologies to create a more connected technology ecosystem for surf park operators and a more personalized experience for surfers.
The partnership pairs Endless Surf’s flexible, customizable wave technology with Flowstate’s leading AI-powered computer vision, automated media and analytics platform. Flowstate will integrate with Endless Surf’s existing software suite, alongside Surf Concierge, Swell Studio and Wave Doctor, while also being designed into future Endless Surf lagoons to optimize camera placement, media capture and other applications.
Beyond Flowstate’s existing automated video offering, the two companies will connect their respective technologies to jointly develop new products across personalized wave delivery, immersive media, coaching and progression, and operator intelligence.
The first major development from the partnership is The Mixtape — a first-of-its-kind approach to personalized wave delivery that has been in development between Endless Surf and Flowstate for nearly two years. The feature allows groups of surfers to pre-select their own waves and receive them individually while surfing together. No wearables, RFID tags or manual interaction are required — surfers simply paddle into position, and the technology takes care of the rest. Flowstate identifies the surfer, Endless Surf delivers their selected wave, and the session continues uninterrupted.
Personalized Waves Within Shared Sessions
Traditionally, surf park sessions are organized around ability level and wave type. The Mixtape introduces a new session model built around the individual surfer, allowing mixed groups of friends and family to surf together without compromising on the waves they want to ride.
Before paddling out, each surfer selects their preferred waves. Flowstate’s computer vision identifies each surfer as they move through the lineup and connects with Endless Surf’s Swell Studio software to deliver their selection. For example, an advanced surfer can receive a high-performance wave, followed by an intermediate wave for a friend and a more approachable wave for another surfer — all within the same session.
The feature combines Flowstate’s ability to identify individual surfers in real time with Endless Surf’s ability to precisely change wave characteristics from one wave to the next, enabling a level of personalized wave delivery within a shared session not previously available in the surf park industry.

The partnership extends beyond The Mixtape. Flowstate’s integration with Endless Surf will also support automated multi-angle media capture, taking advantage of the Endless Surf lagoon’s multiple surfing zones and clear lines of sight; AI-powered coaching and progression tools; and greater operator intelligence, connecting surf, guest and operational data to better understand how the lagoon is being used.
The Mixtape is the first product to emerge from the new partnership — combining unique capabilities from Endless Surf and Flowstate to create an experience not previously possible in a surf park. It’s the latest example of the two teams pushing the boundaries of surf park technology.
