Flowstate Partnering with Fireside Surf for New Texas Destination

Flowstate, a video-based surfing technology that works with surf parks and coaches, is partnering with Fireside Surf in Dallas, Texas.

Our Flowstate system and cameras have been installed, and our team, led by CTO Chris Hausler, are busy training and updating our AI models for wavepools & surfing in preparation for launching at our first deep water standing wave and using citywave®.global technology,” wrote Flowstate founder and CEO Luke Wallace in a LinkedIn post.

Fireside is preparing to open early this year and has shared videos of their new deep water standing wave:

The company does not have an exact opening date yet but is selling presale passes now. When surfers arrive at the destination, they can review their surf session just minutes after it’s recorded with Flowstate’s technology.

The destination in Dallas is based at Grandscape, a giant outdoor shopping and business experience north of Dallas proper. The surf park is using citywave technology.

Besides the new Fireside location, Flowstate is also available at URBNSURF with additional partnerships with Revel Surf and Waco Surf.
