We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team and play a crucial role in driving event registrations and sponsorships to our events.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong connections in the real estate development, investment, and banking industries. This person should be adept at engaging in conversations with CEO’s, executives and top professionals in these fields. It is essential to have a foundational understanding of investor motivations and the ability to recognize companies qualified for constructing large-scale developments. The ideal candidate will also be
experienced with outbound marketing efforts and comfortable interacting with key stakeholders in the surf park space.
This position offers a commission-based compensation structure, providing an opportunity for significant earnings based on performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach to Real Estate Developers & Investors: Proactively engage with developers and investors to promote event registrations and sponsorship opportunities related to the Surf Park Summit.
- Real Estate Conference Meetups: Identify key real estate conferences and present/host meetups to maximize exposure and attract potential attendees and sponsors.
- International Market Expansion: Leverage international experience, especially in key markets such as Europe, Asia, Australia, or the Middle East, to broaden our reach and attract a diverse audience.
- Membership Community Building: Contribute to the growth of our membership community by fostering relationships with industry professionals and stakeholders.
- Executive Engagement: Comfortably communicate and engage with CEOs and executives at top firms to promote the value of participation in the Surf Park Summit and larger Surf Park Central Association.
- Utilize Sales CRM Platforms & Outbound Email: Effectively use sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, particularly HubSpot, for managing leads, tracking communications, and optimizing outreach efforts.
- Industry Familiarity: While not mandatory, familiarity with the surf park industry is a bonus and will be considered an asset.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development and sales, ideally in the real estate and development industry.
- Mature and professional demeanor with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Existing strong contact list within the real estate and development industry.
- Familiarity with outbound email outreach strategies and tools.
- Experience with using sales CRM platforms, HubSpot a bonus.
- International business experience, particularly in Europe, Asia, Australia, or the Middle East, is a plus.
