New Article Showcases How Technology from One of the Largest Companies in the World is Helping to Create Waves

With the 2024 Olympic games just days away, many are discussing the surf industry and the potential of one day hosting surfing at a surf park. A recent article from IoT World Today uses the Olympics as a jumping point to highlight how Surf Loch worked with Siemens, one of the largest manufacturers in the world, to help design their waves.

“Using Siemens’ Xcelerator suite, Surf Loch created a digital twin of its artificial surfing pool to simulate waves and optimize their technology to increase frequency and power.

With their digital twin, Surf Loch can monitor and change the performance of their wave systems to meet user demands, such as making smaller waves for inexperienced surfers.”
