Summer is ending, but some surf parks are heating up as the weather cools off. Multiple parks are putting on the final touches as they prepare to open this fall. Meanwhile, other new surf destinations are building a bigger name with more events.

Revel Surf is Ready to Hire
Revel Surf, the surf anchor of Cannon Beach in Mesa, Arizona, is ready to hire. The company says it is holding a job fair on September 13 and 14 as they work to fill positions including restaurant-related roles, lifeguards, and other daily operations jobs. They have not set an official opening date for the new surf park, but a recent article from the Phoenix Business Journal says it is near completion.
O2 SURFTOWN MUC Set to Host German Surfing Championships
The new surf park in Munich will host this year’s German Surfing Championships. Organizers are excited as this will be the first time the event is held in Germany. When the event kicked off in 1996, they used the French Atlantic coast in Cap de l’Homy. SURFTOWN will host surfers from October 11 to 13, where contestants will ride the waves from Endless Surf. Citywave Hosts Continental Surf Cup
Speaking of surfing competitions, Lakeside Surf in Chelan, Washington, hosted the Continental Surf Cup this past weekend. The event is a two-day battle of Team USA vs. Team Europe. The event is in its third year. The pool, from citywave USA, hosted the event. Check out a live stream of the event:
Palm Springs Surf Club Returns
Palm Springs Surf Club is once again testing its pools. Officials with the California park say the waves are once again online. Surfers can book private sessions for the month of September. In an Instagram post, PSSC says they know most people are waiting for the public sessions, and they hope to have that back open very soon.
