September Surf Park Headlines

Summer is ending, but some surf parks are heating up as the weather cools off. Multiple parks are putting on the final touches as they prepare to open this fall. Meanwhile, other new surf destinations are building a bigger name with more events.

Here’s a look at what’s making headlines this month:

Revel Surf is Ready to Hire

Revel Surf, the surf anchor of Cannon Beach in Mesa, Arizona, is ready to hire. The company says it is holding a job fair on September 13 and 14 as they work to fill positions including restaurant-related roles, lifeguards, and other daily operations jobs. They have not set an official opening date for the new surf park, but a recent article from the Phoenix Business Journal says it is near completion.

O2 SURFTOWN MUC Set to Host German Surfing Championships

The new surf park in Munich will host this year’s German Surfing Championships. Organizers are excited as this will be the first time the event is held in Germany. When the event kicked off in 1996, they used the French Atlantic coast in Cap de l’Homy. SURFTOWN will host surfers from October 11 to 13, where contestants will ride the waves from Endless Surf. Palm Springs Surf Club Returns
