The Palm Springs Surf Club Is A High Performance Dream Come True

This is just a test.

That’s the word out of the Palm Springs Surf Club, where surfers from Dylan Graves to Jackson Dorian to Italo Ferreira have been helping the PSSC crew trial and error their new SurfLoch technology.

Cheyne Magnusson has been toying with the settings and capabilities and has already made huge improvements in a matter of months, despite this pool being only a fraction of the full-scale version they’re building later this year. But, before Palm Springs Surf Club rips out this facility and re-build something bigger and better, Magnusson hosted the Snapt 4 movie crew and STAB for what looked like the most fun pool party ever. “Kelly wanted to make his perfect wave, and he did it,” Magnusson told STAB afterwards. “He wanted that perfect Kirra point break, over and over. It’s amazing. But when I saw the possibility around the pneumatics, I thought—what would my dream wave be? And it’s the Wedge. I want The Wedge. That’s the most fun wave in the world to me and all my friends.”

Click play to watch Eithan Osborne, Parker Coffin, and Ian Crane run amuck in Magnusson’s newly created electric blue wedge to ramp. If this is just a test, can you imagine the real thing?
