Surfing legend Kelly Slater is sharing an inside look at his new wave pool.
Slater shared a video on his Instagram account and wrote, “I’ve surfed hundreds of incredible waves across the world, and this wave in Abu Dhabi stacks up well against some of the best waves on earth.”
Slater’s latest surf park is his second after Surf Ranch was pivotal in the surf park industry.
Developers announced the new surf park this past June with the ambitious plan of opening by the end of the year. Like many modern wave pool projects, the development includes residential housing.
There’s no word on when the project will officially open to the public.
