URBNSURF Names New CEO

URBNSURF has officially named its new CEO. Multiple sources say the organization is going with Jennifer Vandekreeke. Vanderkreeke will officially take over in mid-May and oversee the organization’s two surf park destinations in Australia, Melbourne and Sydney. She previously had roles with Carnival Cruise Lines and Club Med. 

FlowRider Explains Why Developers Are Choosing Surfing

For us in the industry, surfing is a no-brainer. New wave technology and access for newcomers have many developers lining up to create surf-anchored destinations. o2 SURFTOWN MUC Fills Its Pool

German surf park o2 SURFTOWN MUC has officially filled its pool. The highly anticipated park is home to the world’s first Endless surf lagoon. The Endless team announced the news with a LinkedIn post. They said the next step is water treatment and equipment testing, and then the fun begins by rolling out the first waves.

Coachella Visits Palm Spring Surf Club

The Palm Spring Surf Club, which recently reopened for surfers, just hosted an event alongside the Coachella music festival. The Goldenvoice Surf Club event included a day party with DJs and guests hanging out poolside. The well-known music festival is just a short drive from Palm Springs, California.
