Surf Park Central Was Spreading The Stoke At The 2023 World Waterpark Association Show

Since 1982, the World Waterpark Association has been the go-to trade association that serves waterparks and aquatic venues around the world. The annual event by WWA, which took place in late October 2023 in New Orleans, was extremely informative and delivered beyond expectations.

Two Great Presentations At The Show Were All About Waves

One was moderated by our friend Josh Martin of Martin Aquatic Design & Engineering, which highlighted a number of different wave techs currently in the surf pool world. ‘Creating Waves: A Panel About Surf’ also consisted of EpicSurf’s Julie Kline, Waves & Water’s Jessica O’Leary, Endless Surf’s Andrew Thatcher, and FlowRiders’ Marshall Myrman.

The other was by our own Co-Founder Jess Ponting, that focused on consumer trends and spend in the surf and wavepool industry.

Thanks WWA For A Great Event!

A big highlight was our Surf Park Meetup at Lucy’s Retired Bar and Restaurant. It was an awesome turnout, with some fun networking and drinks – much thanks to all who came out!
