2026 will be a big year for the surf park industry. More parks are expected to open, and we’ve already seen new wave technology and new developments breaking ground. Two recent updates include major progress on DSRT Surf and another wave technology from Surf Loch.
DSRT Surf Moves Forward

DSRT Surf, the Beach Street Development project near Palm Springs, is getting closer to an opening date. The team shared updated photos with Surf Park Central.
The images show the Wavegarden Cove lagoon along the desert backdrop. Alongside it is a large building and the starting process of the roadways.
