URBNSURF Sydney Fills the Pool and Prepares for April Opening

The highly anticipated URBNSURF Sydney is getting ready to officially open its doors. The company announced the news this week with a video. They didn’t say an exact date for visitors to ride the Wavegarden waves but said the park will open in April.

Crews began construction around the pandemic. Between that, supply shortages and weather delays, the projects became years in the making. URBNSURF’s original destination in Melbourne is one of the most popular surf parks in the world. The second location in Sydney is bringing a similar level of excitement.

“This is a huge milestone for the much-anticipated second home of URBNSURF in Sydney Olympic Park,” the company wrote on its website. “URBNSURF is now the only Wave Pool Business in the world to operate two wave parks and provide perfect, ocean-like waves to guests of all abilities.”
